Bella’s successful hernia surgery took place 4 weeks ago, on December 2, 2014. This morning (December 31), she was lying down and couldn’t get up because of colic. Colic is abdominal pain, but can have many different causes and can result in death. We were able to get her up and moving around, and she is going to be OK with a change of diet.
We want to thank all of the Gabby’s Sanctuary ARK supporters who made Bella’s hernia surgery possible. Without it, she would have died from the colic. You blessed us in 2014, and we wish you all the best for 2015!
