Oscar came to Gabby’s Sanctuary ARK from an owner who never fed or watered him. As a result, he looked like a 6-month-old donkey instead of the 13-month-old colt that he was.
Oscar has grown, filled out, and become a favorite at GSA because of his playful personality. He follows people around like a dog, nips at boots, and pulls on ponytails. If you offer him a sugar cube, he doesn’t munch it like the other horses. Instead, he licks it in your hand until the sugar dissolves, leaving your hand sticky and wet. He even pulls pranks on the other horses, like pulling the strap on Billie Jean’s halter.
