It was discovered this morning that all of the horse blankets have been stolen from storage at Gabby’s Sanctuary ARK. Additional items stolen include bridles, grooming tools, halters, riding blankets, and other equipment. With freezing weather predicted for this week, the most urgent need is for extra protection from the cold that blankets would provide. Each blanket costs about $80.00, and we currently have 8 horses.
Another facility was broken into last month where items donated for use by Gabby’s ARK were stored. These items were to be used for fundraising activities (e.g., raffles, door prizes, auction), and included a large screen TV.
